There are two adjoining tennis courts at the corner of John Street and Cadigal Avenue. The court surface is sand-filled artificial grass. The courts are managed by the Community Association and are available free of charge to all Jacksons Landing residents.
Public Use: The courts are also available Monday to Saturday to non-residents for $24/hour Monday to Friday and $30/hour Saturday (payment must be processed during office hours before the booking time. Estate Management office can only accept EFTPOS/ VISA/ Mastercard, no cash.)
Wet weather: It is still OK to play, as long as the courts are not under water. Give reasonable consideration to whether you feel it is safe to use them under those conditions.
Coaching: The courts are mainly for residents of Jacksons Landing who pay for their upkeep via Community Association fees. A resident may book a court and employ their own coach, but otherwise coaching is not allowed.
Social Tennis: There are 2 two-hour slots a week reserved for social tennis – on Sunday and Thursday mornings. As times change according to the season and daylight saving, check with the organiser if you are unsure – Anthony on 0404 876 927 (Sundays) and Nicki on 0492 466 859 (Thursdays).
Anyone who plays tennis at any level can join social tennis. The first to arrive can pick up the key from the Security Gatehouse, go to the court and start playing. For enquiries contact Anthony on 0404 876 927 (Sundays) or Nicki on 0492 466 859 (Thursdays).
Check the calendar below for existing bookings and free time slots. Bookings are made with Resident Services Management (RSM) during business hours at the Estate Management Office or on 02 8565 9400 or with Security at the Gatehouse (24/7) or on 02 8565 9494.
You can only book one tennis court at a time, for a maximum of TWO HOURS in any one week. Users are only allowed to book ONE HOUR time slots on weekends. (This rule allows for more residents to use the courts throughout the weekend.) You cannot book more than one week in advance. Multiple bookings made by occupiers from the same unit will be treated as being made by the same person.
Anyone who fails on three occasions to turn up for a booking without notifying Resident Services Management or Security will be banned from use of the tennis court for a period of three months.
Please read this document 2024_04 Tennis Court Rules.
Note: The calendar below allows you to see where bookings currently exist. Two tennis courts are available for booking, so if you see a time slot with two entries, it means that the time slot is NOT available. If a time slot is empty or has just one entry it means one or both courts are available for booking.
